K：キッチン

The first one, “madori.”
This means layout.
In Japan, there are layout words like 1LDK, 2LDK.
For example, 2LDK means:
2 = two rooms
L = living (room)
D = dining (room)
K = kitchen
It means a house that has these.

2つ目は「築年数」 ちょっと むずかしい言葉です。
これは建物ができてから、何年経ったかという意味です。
築10年なら、10年前にできたアパートという意味です。

Then, the second word.
The second one is “chikunen-sū.”
This is a little difficult one.
It means how many years have passed since the building was built.
For example, if it’s “chiku 10-nen,” it means an apartment built 10 years ago.
3つ目の言葉、「駅近」
駅が近いという意味です。 みじかい言葉ですね。
駅から歩いて10分の場所を、よく駅近と言います。
でも、駅近はアパートだけじゃなくて、レストランとかお店にも使うことができます。

The third word, “ekichika.”
It means “close to the station.” It’s a shorten word.
For a place that is a 10-minute walk from the station, people often say “ekichika.”
But “ekichika” is not only for apartments; it can also be used for restaurants or shops.

I can walk if it takes about 30 minutes.
It doesn’t have to be “ekichika (close to the station)”.
But if the supermarket is far, it is a little inconvenient.
In my current house, it takes 20 minutes on foot to the supermarket.
When I bought a lot, it was very hard to walk carrying heavy bags.
So, for the next house, I looked for a place close to a supermarket.
2週間くらい毎日探して、やっと条件に合う家を見つけました。

I was really relieved so much.
