Online Lessons

What kind of courses do you have?

We have a variety of courses for students from beginner to advanced and even a business Japanese class! Check out for more details here.

Is it a private lesson or a group lesson?

It is a private lesson with a personalized curriculum based on your level and needs!

How can we study online?

We study online using video conference software such as Google Meet, Zoom, WeChat, etc.

I usually use Google Meet for online lessons. However, if you have a preferred software, I am very flexible.
But if you want to pick Zoom, only 30-minute lessons will be available.

Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?

Yes, you can cancel or reschedule a lesson on Your booking lessons if it is 24 hours before the lesson time.

Please check the cancellation policy here.

Is it possible to take a lesson immediately after booking?

Unfortunately, no.
You can book lessons 12 hours before the lesson starts.

How can I check whether my booking was made properly?

You can check on Your booking lessons to see all your bookings.
If you log in for the first time, please press “Forgot Password?” and get an access link to the page.

What should I do when I will be absent for a lesson,
or need to contact you for some questions related to lessons?

When you are unable to attend a lesson, please contact me via Facebook Messenger, or email contact@en-nihongo.com.
If you have any questions about some attachments (pictures, voice memos, etc.,) you can also contact me via Messenger or Email.

Do you have a course for kids?

Yes, I do! For a kids’ course, I will start off by doing flashcards with easy vocabulary such as animals, food, numbers, etc.

If a child is interested in further content like Japanese letters (Hiragana/Katakana), or simple phrases, the curriculum can be planned that way.
I recommend a 30-minute lesson for kids, especially for the first time. Please book “J-KIDS こどものための にほんご” for a kids’ course!

Where can I get a textbook and worksheets?

In order to protect copyright, students need to buy the textbook we use in the lessons.
However, I offer lessons with free textbooks, and the original worksheets are given via en-Learning!

If you have a request for a textbook to use, please let me know!

Which language do we speak when we have a lesson?

Basically, all my lessons are in Japanese. Only for a zero-level beginner, or when I need to explain something complicated, I will speak in English.
